Welcome to Insighty: The Platform Built for Agency Reality

We built Insighty because every agency tool we tried was designed for a different kind of company. Here's what we're building, why, and who it's for.

Insighty started from a single frustration: why does it take 45 minutes to answer “how are we doing this month?”

If you run a digital agency or manage one, you know the moment. Someone asks a simple question — revenue this month, margin on a client, how many active retainers — and the answer requires opening four tabs, waiting for exports, and reconciling numbers that never quite match.

We built Insighty to make that question answerable in seconds, not minutes. But that’s just the surface of what the platform does.

What We’re Building

Insighty is a purpose-built operations platform for digital agencies. Not a generic project management tool with an agency template. Not a CRM with a project add-on. A platform designed from the ground up around how digital agencies actually work — the revenue mix, the client relationships, the operational complexity, the reporting needs.

Most agencies manage work across a stack of tools that were each designed for a different type of business. Time trackers built for consultancies. Invoicing software built for freelancers. CRMs built for sales teams. Project tools built for software teams. None of them speak to each other, and none of them have a native understanding of what it means to run an agency with 50 active clients, four different revenue types, and a team that splits time between delivery and business development.

That mismatch is where Insighty starts.

The Six Surfaces

Insighty brings together six things that have historically lived in separate places:

Clients. Every client relationship — their projects, their contracts, their billing history, their upcoming renewals — in a single record. No more assembling a client picture from three tools.

Projects. Budget, scope, burn rate, and team allocation tracked in one place. Budget alerts surface automatically; you don’t have to run a report to find out you’re overbudget.

Maintenance contracts. Time-limited support agreements with renewal tracking, pricing history, and automatic alerts at 90, 60, 30, and 14 days before expiry.

Hosting and domains. The infrastructure you manage for clients — hosting plans, domain registrations, SSL certificates — with margin tracking and renewal management built in.

Invoices. The current month’s invoiceable items surfaced automatically, across all revenue types. Retainer invoices, project milestones, hosting renewals — all visible in one action view.

Pipeline. Weighted deal forecasting that integrates with your active revenue, so you can see where the month is heading — not just where it’s been.

Who It’s For

Insighty is designed for two people: the agency owner who needs a clear financial picture without a three-hour reporting exercise, and the project manager who needs to see budget burn, scope status, and upcoming deliverables without switching between five tools.

Both people exist in almost every agency of more than five people. Both are currently spending time they shouldn’t on data assembly tasks that a better system should handle for them.

What Makes It Different

The honest answer is: it’s the only tool we’ve found that treats agency operations as its primary design constraint, not as a customisation layer on top of a generic platform.

We track maintenance contracts natively — because agencies manage them for clients and they have a specific financial model that’s different from projects. We surface invoice leakage proactively — because the most common form of agency revenue loss isn’t bad clients, it’s invoices that were never raised. We connect pipeline to current-month revenue — because the question “what does this month look like?” requires both pieces to answer honestly.

These aren’t features you configure. They’re assumptions about how your business works, baked into the model.

Early Access

Insighty is in early access. We’re working with a small group of agencies to refine the platform before broader release.

If you run a digital agency and spend too much time reconstructing your operational reality from fragmented tools, we’d like to talk.

The 45-minute answer to “how are we doing?” isn’t a necessity. It’s a design problem — and we’re building the fix.
